The Mini Quilt Travel Bug Reaches Virginia
It did it! The travel bug mini quilt I had sent off at the beginning of the year has made it to Virginia, it's destination. Grant you, it sort of meandered around the West for a while, trying to find the way to the other coast, but thanks to someone who was travelling that way, it's somewhere in the vecinity of Richmond! I hope before the end of the adventure, it will get to see some interesting spots and have its picture taken here and there in places where a Civil War soldier might have been. Here it is, with Scooby and the Gang while in Seattle. Lo ha conseguido! El bicho viajero mini-quilt de la guerra civil ha llegado a Virginia, su objetivo en menos de un año. Al principio dió muchas vueltas por el oeste, intentando encontrar el camino adecuado, pero gracias a alguien que viajó a la costa este, está cerca de Richmond. Espero que antes de que termine su aventura, podrá ver sitios interesantes y hacerse fotos en sitios donde pudieron estar soldados de la guerra civil americana. Seguro que tienes curiosidad de ver si le han ido añadiendo cosas, historias y detalles de otras personas que de un modo u otro hayan tenido contacto con la Guerra Civil.
Deberían llevarlo a Arlington y tenerlo allí unos días.. Seguro que luego podrías respirar alguna historia.

Me hace ilusión ver las firmas. Ojalá le hagan más fotos, porque de momento no tiene muchas. Ayer mirando el mapa ví que está a un paso de un montón de sitios históricos, la cosa es que lo lleven de visita antes de volverlo a esconder, eso espero :)

Para buscar el mio, pincha en busca un travelbug y pones civil war soldier quilt en la casilla que pone keyword. Lo puse en un tesoro aquí en Idaho y ha estado en Nevada, en California, en Washington y ahora está en Virginia.
