Waste Not, Want Not

I've layered a top I had pieced years ago. If it looks familiar, it might be the fact half my work was done when I started piecing it... leftover hts from the big red quilt's border. It's been sitting on the to-be-quilted pile for a handful of years, because I thought it needed a border. After seeing it again, I decided against it. It looks good to me as it is. I quilted on it during the last few days, nothing much, just a little outline work and a few extra lines here and there. Hopefully, it'll be no longer a UFO in a few days' time.

El fin de semana preparé un top para acolchar. Lo tenía hecho desde hace varios años, y se se parece al quilt rojo es porque está hecho de los hst que me sobraron del borde. Lo he tenido en lista de espera para acolchar porque pensaba que iba a necesitar otro borde y no se me ocurría que hacer. Cuando lo saqué el otro día, me dí cuenta de que no está mal tal y como estaba. Empecé a acolcharlo, no mucho, solamente los contornos de algunas piezas y una linea aquí y otra allá. Puede que de aquí a unos días ya no sea un UFO.
